Rough and Ready Flat Botanical Wayside trailThis is just a little bit of what you might see on the main trail to the front and sides. These shots are taken on a variety of years and times of the years. I have not explored the rougher trail back very far, I do hope to do that this year so I can provide a much fuller look of the area. It is a very easy walk from the highway. We always hope people will stay to the trail which has been lovingly contributed into by the local garden club too from what I have heard. The land is fragile and stepping anywhere off the trail can crush and disturb future growth of all these wonderful wild flowers. Several locals also give tours for interested visitors who want to see and identify them. I have some pictures from the past few years, having been a late comer myself and this year I am going to really try to catch as many varieties as I can, but I also stay on the trail and cannot reach some of them.
